I have tried the Slim Fast diet and I lost about 50lbs in about 6 months. I would drink the slim fast for breakfast and then about an hour later I would eat a small banana and a half of a peanut butter sandwich or 1 cup of cereal whole grain and 1/2 of skim milk. Then for lunch, I would drink the shake and then about 2 hours later I would eat 1/2 a sandwich and some baby carrots or a small apple. For dinner, I ate off of the low fat subway menu. I would get a foot long sub and most of the time I couldn’t finish the whole thing. I also rode my exercise bike about 5 miles every night. It will work. You just have to stick with it. It took me about a week before I didn’t feel hungry all the time. Every time you feel hungry, just drink a glass of water and remember you are supposed to have 8 glasses a day.
