Why Rapid Weight Loss Diets are doomed to failure

September 5, 2010

Crash diets do not lead to permanent weight loss and be detrimental to your health.
Many Internet sites claim that their diet results in significant weight loss in just three, four or five days. This type of weight loss is always temporary. It is usually 90% water, which once again, be set as soon as you rehydrate your body, do it, have to suffer if you do not intend to serious health problems.
Most quick weight loss diets are only fashionable for a short while, although they make a lot of money for the inventor in associated product sales.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
1st Diets that promise quick and easy weight loss are usually based on eating more of one type of cuisine and none of the others. These do not reflect the benefits that you would get from a balanced diet. You can recommend supplements but many supplements are not absorbed by the body when they are taken together with the foods that the diet is prohibited. After a few weeks if you remain, you can begin to develop nutritional deficiencies.
2nd Diets are often boring and over restrictive. After the novelty of the first day or two, you will notice that you do not enjoy your meals more. You will then start to crave food constantly and give comfort to your diet to quite soon. You may even feel guilty, to lose himself to blame for not weight.
3rd Most diets do not follow the recommendations of the American Heart Association in relation to blood lipid levels in the diet. Often, the recommended dietary fat foods and low carbs, which, if taken long term, could result in heart disease. The promoters can tell you that the diet should be followed only for a short time. But you probably will not reach your target weight at this time, and then what? You win either a plan that is not good for your health, stop or continue, and probably back what you lost.
4th Many diets will not help you enough servings of fruits and vegetables into your weight loss program to include, nor does it give you the variety of foods that your body needs.
5th Quick weight loss diets are a temporary solution and not helping you to make permanent changes to your eating habits. Permanent changes are the only way to keep your target weight once you achieve it. Diets encourage yo-yo diet-binge cycles of fast weight loss, and just as fast weight gain. This is worse for your health and your self-esteem than if you were overweight.
Self-hypnosis, especially when combined with NLP is a very effective way of changing your unhealthy eating habits permanently and addictions. You can also use it to reduce stress (and comfort food!) And increase your confidence enormously.
Whatever may be said of the hype, these diets are not helpful in the long run. The best way to get weight loss is to eat a varied and healthy diet, eating too much, to move regularly and to avoid quick weight loss diet.
